Official: Russia to change pension formula till 2025

MOSCOW, Oct 1 (PRIME) – Russia’s pension formula will be amended until 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova told reporters on Monday.

“From January 1, 2019 and for six forthcoming years, the weight of the pension coefficient is calculated precisely in pension legislation, and one can calculate the pension, how it will rise and how it will be set,” Golikova said. She added that starting from 2025, the amount of the coefficients must be changed.

“In a nutshell, this is the first modernization for six years, and later a second will follow.”
